Southern Cross Drones has partnered with DJI in 2016 to become their official reseller in Australia.   Fueled  with a mission to help customers with finding the best solution when embarking on their own drone programs and to get access to drone support in a way which better fits their operations and cost profiles, Southern Cross Drones is offering the full range of DJI drones, aimed at commercial applications.

DJI Mavic Air

The Mavic Air is the most portable DJI drone to house a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, with its angular vibration range reduced to 0.005°. Set in a triangular formation, gimbal dampeners help create even steadier shots.  As tall and wide as a smartphone when folded, the Mavic Air is an ultraportable drone that stretches the boundaries of what's possible for a device its size.

The Mavic Air will support many third marty appllications incl.  DroneDeploy mission planning and data capture software

DJI Mavic Pro

The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvas easily and without worry,  helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever.  24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new transmission system with a 4.3mi (7km) *range, 5 vision sensors, and a 4K camera stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, are at your command with just a push of your thumb or a tap of your finger.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro

One of the most popular DJI drones comes with an uprated camera is equipped with a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor capable of shooting 4K/60fps video and Burst Mode stills at 14 fps.

The adoption of titanium alloy and magnesium alloy construction increases the rigidity of the airframe and reduces weight, making the Phantom 4 Pro similar in weight to the Phantom 4. The FlightAutonomy system adds dual rear vision sensors and infrared  sensing systems for a total of 5-direction of obstacle sensing and 4-direction of obstacle avoidance.

DJI Phantom 4 Advanced

Similar in design and flight parameters to Phantom 4 Pro, the Phantom 4 Advanced comes  with same 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor camera capable of shooting 4K/60fps video and Burst Mode stills at 14 fps.  The FlightAutonomy system includes five vision sensors for 2-directional obstacle sensing and forward-vision obstacle avoidance.

DJI Inspire 2

http://www.dji.com/inspire-2

The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. An all-new image processing system records at up to 5.2K in CinemaDNG RAW,  Apple ProRes and more. It goes from 0 to 50mph (80kph) in just 5 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 58mph (94kph) and has a max descent speed of 9m/s for unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. A dual battery system prolongs the flight time to a maximum of 27 minutes (with an X4S),while self-heating

technology allows it to fly even in low temperatures. FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2,providing two directions of obstacle

avoidance and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, giving even single pilots the ability to create complex, dramatic shots. An upgraded video transmission system is now capable of dual signal frequency and dual channel, streaming video from an onboard FPV camera and the main camera simultaneously, for better pilot and camera operator collaboration.

Large carrying capacity, strong and stable.  Free yourself from weight limits and fly with heavy DSLR cameras such as the 5D Mark III with the advanced eight-rotor propulsion system of the S1000+. The S1000+’s arms and landing gear are made of sturdy carbon fiber, giving remarkable stability and strength. You’re flying in a variety of flight conditions with confidence, knowing your gear is safe.

DJI Agras MG-1

http://www.dji.com/mg-1

Maximum efficiency drone for precision agriculture applications.  The powerful propulsion system enables the MG-1 to carry up to 10kg of liquid payloads, including pesticide and fertilizer. The combination of speed and power means that an area of 4,000-6,000 m² can be covered in just 10 minutes, or 40 to 60 times faster than manual spraying operations. The intelligent spraying system automatically adjusts its spray according to the flying speed so that an even spray is always applied. This way, the amount of pesticide or fertilizer is precisely regulated to avoid pollution and economize operations.

DJI Agras MG-1S

http://www.dji.com/mg-1s

The Agras MG-1S integrates a number of cutting-edge DJI technologies, including the new  A3 Flight Controller, and a Radar Sensing System that provides additional reliability during  flight. The spraying system and flow sensor ensure accurate operations. When used with the MG Intelligent Operation Planning System and the DJI Agriculture Management Platform,  a user can plan operations, manage flights in real-time, and closely monitor aircraft operating
