Airport Drone Surveillance Counter UAS Radar
Aveillant’s new and unique technology platform changes what it is possible to achieve with a radar. Whilst other systems are like a flashlight in the dark, Aveillant’s Holographic Radar turns on the light, illuminating the entire sky and recording everything in view, all of the time.

Holographic radars can be deployed either on or close to airports and give complete situational awareness to controllers of any drone activity in the area. The system can be deployed to look over specific high risk areas such as the approach path, or to cover the entire aerodrome and surrounding area to give early warning of any approaching drone.
In this way Holographic radar will improve safety by reducing the risk of an aircraft hitting a drone, and also reduce the potential for serious operational disruption associated with closing a runway after a pilot sighting of a drone.
The fact that holographic radar can dwell on a target means the discrimination of birds against drones is greatly increased, giving reliable alerting with low false alarms to a degree not possible using conventional radar.
The Gamekeeper radar is able to detect, track and classify small Unmanned Air Systems (sUAS) in full 3 dimensions to a range of 5km. With no moving parts, it continuously "floodlights" the entire field of view providing location and velocity of every object detected.

UAS design and technology is changing rapidly. Gamekeeper is a software defined radar. As UAS change, the software in deployed Gamekeeper units can be updated with new algorithms and features developed by Aveillant.
Gamekeeper’s high speed update rate (4x per second) provides live output, enabling an operator to observe target behaviour. Standard data output format ensures ease of compatibility and integration with additional sensors, countermeasures and C2 systems.
Gamekeeper has no moving parts, minimising maintenance and operating costs, and simplifying installation. Aveillant can provide remote monitoring and maintenance, along with regular software updates, maximising system availability.
